The Cliff Bay - Portobay

Everything was perfect, its staff and rooms, plus free wi-fi. I was here for 7 nights and ate at a la carte restaurant with a nice view over the garden and Atlantic ocean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, used ample space and thick blackout curtains

I had a good stay with a breakfast included and loved the location, it was perfect and right at the sea. The beds were great and each well-appointed room had a mini bar, climate control and an individual safe.

Wonderful views, warm breakfast. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals. It became my favorite place to stay in Funchal.

We liked this contemporary place and its super location. Had new-fashioned standard room with balcony, a stunning view plus extra large. There was absolutely incredible stuff and the service was efficient. Brilliant food in the poolside restaurant was the best part. Our stay was a just perfect experience.

Everything was very good! Appreciated the place, perfectly pleasant stay. And it also had absolutely superb view. It was beautiful and we had a super bathroom.

Great relaxing and spotlessly clean place with well-trained staff. Found in a very attractive part of the town. There are lots of restaurants to eat, like Koi Sushi that is only 5 minutes' walk away, we enjoyed its location.

Magnificent hotel with absolutely perfect rooms and terrific restaurant. Ideal location to living room. Breakfast was FINE and well presented. The service was excellent too.

Liked staff and rooms. Superb view, a small balcony, comfortable bed, too. That was not large hotel set in peaceful area. Moreover, cr7 museum was 15 minutes' walk away. The restaurant was fabulous, I tried savoury dishes. The pool was heated and the garden - beautiful.

The staff was helpful, the food was excellent! You should definitely explore Sao Martinho district, it's worth it. We booked a superior room with a balcony.
